Can you imagine enjoying a delicious pizza, without flour, with all the flavours of broccoli and albacore tuna? You’ve probably heard of pizza bases made with cauliflower, which are also very healthy. Ana (@nutri_pine) now proposes a lesser known, but equally healthy and tasty alternative with another cruciferous vegetable: a pizza base made with broccoli, to which we add the properties and flavour of white tuna.
Ingredients
- Broccoli – 300 g
- free range eggs – 1
- White tuna in olive oil – 1 tin
- Natural tomato sauce – 150 g
- Cream cheese
- Mushrooms
- Cherry tomatoes
- Black garlic
- Basil
- Oregano
- Salt
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Meanwhile, crush the broccoli and chop it in a food processor until you get a granular consistency similar to rice.
- Then mix with the canned albacore tuna and a free-range egg (beaten beforehand). Add a pinch of salt.
- Then knead the base of the pizza. Spread out on baking paper to a thickness of half a cm and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Once the pizza base is cooked, remove it from the oven and top with whatever toppings you like best. For example, Ana’s pizza is based on natural tomatoes, cream cheese, mushrooms, black garlic and cherry tomatoes.
- Bake in the oven for another 10 minutes and leave to cool.
Enjoy your meal!
